I love peanut butter. It’s one of my staple foods, always in the house, in many different forms, usually involving chocolate. But this time, I decided to mix things up and pair my peanut butter with vanilla. Vanilla bean Killer Whey! protein ice cream to be exact. This is one of those healthy, but oh so indulgent desserts… I don’t even want to tell you how many bites I took while I was taking pictures…. Killer Whey! with Chike Powdered Peanut Butter might be my new favorite!
If you’ve never had powdered peanut butter, it’s pretty cool. You can add it to almost anything - smoothies, yogurt, quick breads, cookies, brownies, ice cream, or even just eat it alone.
Powdered peanut has significantly less calories and less fat than regular peanut butter. Less carbs too. It’s mostly just the protein. Two tablespoons of Chike Powdered Peanut Butter has 40 calories, 1.5 grams of fat, 4 grams of carbs, and 6 grams of protein. In comparison, regular peanut butter, like Adam’s Natural peanut butter, has 210 calories, 16 grams of fat, 6 grams of carbs, and 7 grams of protein per two tablespoons.
The bottomline is that powdered peanut butter is a good way to add more protein to your diet. There’s nothing wrong with eating regular peanut butter though. But if you’re focusing more on protein, try powdered peanut butter.
You mix two tablespoons of the peanut butter powder with one tablespoon of water to make the powdered peanut butter similar to regular peanut butter consistency. But to make Chike Peanut Powder as an ice cream topping, I mixed the peanut butter powder and water with a one-to-one ratio. You want it to be thin enough to drizzle.
And then there’s nothing wrong with eating an entire pint of Chilla in Vanilla Killer Whey! Protein Ice Cream topped with Chike Peanut Butter Powder. Get the big bowls out and fill them all the way up with Killer Whey!, you won’t regret it!
I honestly scooped an entire pint into a bowl, drizzled it with the peanut butter, and then had to hurry and take pictures before it melted. It’s been getting so hot in Boise… my kitchen gets warm and the ice cream melts so fast. I should take pictures in the early morning when it’s still cool but I wasn’t that good at planning, haha! So I just took so many bites of the Killer Whey! with the Chike Peanut Butter Powder as I took pictures. It’s so good, I couldn’t help myself!

Nutrition: 180 calories, 8.5 grams of fat, 4 grams of net carbs, 17 grams of protein
1 pint of Chilla in Vanilla Killer Whey! Protein Ice Cream
½ cup of Chike Powdered Peanut Butter
½ cup of water
Mix ½ cup of Chike Powdered Peanut Butter with ½ of water in a bowl. Stir until well combined.
Scoop ½ cup of Chilla in Vanilla Killer Whey! Protein Ice Cream into four bowls.
Drizzle Killer Whey! with Chike Powdered Peanut Butter, evenly distributing the peanut butter between the four bowls.
